I’m a junior at The University of Texas studying multimedia journalism. I’m originally from Killeen, Tx. After graduation I want to work as a communications specialist for a non-profit organization that works with children and/or education.
I love dancing (jazz, lyrical, modern) camping, hiking, reading (novels and autobiographies in particular) and writing. A few of my favorite places around Austin are Book People, Bennu, 24 Diner, Alamo Draft House, and Counter Cafe.

I am a third-year student at The University of Texas at Austin, where I am studying multimedia journalism and business. After graduating in December 2010, I hope to pursue a career in communications where I can utilize both aspects of my education.
I grew up in the tiny community of Lincoln, Texas, where I lived for the first 18 years of my life until I moved away to Austin. While I love this great city, I am definitely still a small town boy at heart, and I fully appreciate the impact that growing up in that environment had on me.
My favorite things to do are fishing (especially fly fishing), photography, painting, cooking, writing, just being outside, and spending time and having fun with my family and friends. I am also a big sports fans. GO LONGHORNS!
